“Paper” - During an eventful recording session, I asked all the musicians to draw on three tiny pieces of paper. Firstly, to only use lines. Secondly, to write either a sentence or a few words about loss. Lastly, To fill the space.

Once the drawings were completed, each musician passed their three papers to the person next to them and improvised with a set of limitations.

The recording captures my instructions for the improvisations.
